Data Systems Engineer – Analytics Focus (m/f/d)

As a Data Systems Engineer focused on Analytics, you own the backbone of modern data platforms. You design and build scalable cloud data and analytics infrastructure that supports both classic BI use cases and AI-driven workflows.

Remote in Germany or Bulgaria

Mid to Senior

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and build data architectures based on Azure Databricks and data lakehouse technologies
Develop and operate ETL pipelines (Python, SQL, PySpark)
Integrate diverse data sources, automate workflows, and monitor performance
Collaborate with data scientists, BI teams, and cloud engineers on end-to-end integration
Help shape best practices for data governance, cost optimization, and security

YOUR PROFILE

Several years of experience building and operating analytical cloud systems
Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and Azure services
Hands-on experience with Databricks or comparable platforms
Understanding of performance tuning, versioning, and CI/CD pipelines
Interest in automation, AIOps, and data observability
